Updates from Preston Kent Reining

A LOT has happened in the past month with the horses. A lot of horse shuffling. Check out these updates.

After debating for months, we finally made the difficult decision to sell Noble Iceman. A lady from Arizona has wanted to buy him for a couple of years and she made an offer at the Scottsdale show back in February. Preston didn't want to sell him because he is such a great horse but we finally decided it was the best decision to make. We will miss him terribly but we know he is going to an excellent home. We took these pics right before he left. He left for Arizona on June 17th.

I absolutely love this pic. Preston is pretty cute I think.

Iceman is an incredibly talented purebred Arabian stallion. Look at this thing stop!

We also sold Sagehill Karlotta through the same lady/trainer that helped us sell Iceman. She also left June 17th.

We traded Karlotta (plus got a little money) for this purebred Arabian stallion, Muscam. He is a bit of a handful but he was an Arabian National Champion and his babies have done well in the reining show pen. The verdict is still out about him but we hope he will be a good addition to Sage Hill Arabians. He is currently in Malad. We got him June 16th.

Here is our newest addition to the barn, SH Cockadudealou. He came from Malad on June 22nd and is now in training with Preston now that Karlotta is gone.

And last but not least, we are currently in the process of buying this Quarter Horse mare, One Stylish Chic (aka Ingrid). She has produced some good babies so far. Preston wants to use her as a broodmare in the breeding program (I was certainly not thrilled when I heard he wanted to buy another horse but whatever). Hopefully she has some good babies and maybe we will breed her to other Quarter Horse stallions to get some good reiners that Preston and Nathan can show at NRHA shows.
