2013 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show

Scottsdale Results:

2/22/13 Preston scored a 206.5 in the purebred reining futurity finals. He placed 6th!

2/22/13 Preston showed cd and had a little trouble. He only scored a 198.

2/21/13 Preston did well on Lou. Didn't make it to finals but had a good clean run.

2/20/13 Preston scored a 203 on Nobles Joy. Only 1 point away from making finals! So close.
Preston scored a 207 on norm in the second go of the purebred futurity. He made the finals on norm!

2/19/13 Preston showed SH Cool Dude today and scored a 210. That's the highest score he has gotten so far. The class was Half Arabian Open Reining and it is a qualifier for the championship on Thursday. He looked really great. Stopped huge.

2/19/13 Preston showed SH Cockadudealou today and had a bit of a rough ride. For some reason right before he was supposed to show, Lou was trying to run off and acting strange. As Preston was showing he said "he's not going to stop." and he didn't. So he only scored a 184. Darn. He's not going to make it to the finals with a score that low but we hope he does well with the 2 purebreds again tomorrow.

Nicole took reserve (second place) in her class.

2/18/13 Preston did well in the first go of the Arabian Reining Futurity. The scores from today will be combined with the scores on Wednesday (the second go). The top 10 scores from the combined first and second go will advance to the finals. When they compete in the finals they start out with a clean slate and how they score in the finals will be what determines the placing of the class. First place will win $16,000. The top 10 placings will be paid out.
