A Word From Scottsdale

We're down here in Scottsdale. The weather is WONDERFUL (75 degrees today) and we're all having a good time for the most part.

The first day Preston showed Ice Man he zeroed because Ice Man decided he didn't want to stop on the last stop in his pattern. That was too bad, now he won't make it to the championship. Nate did well on his purebred Arabian, Fantacy. Right now he is tied for 2nd in the first go around. Nate also showed Top Gun in the older horse's class and is sitting 4th.

Preston showed Nute and Gypsy today and got a 200.5 on Nute and a 192 on Gypsy. He showed very conservatively because he just wanted to score and have no major mess ups like on Ice Man. So he scored pretty low, but at least he scored. He shows Nute and Gypsy again on Thursday.

Preston has learned a lot at this show and he knows what he needs to do better next year. We have had some people interested in buying almost all of the horses we brought. So if nothing else, we will still be able to get some money from selling horses.
